Accent Records has supplied the public with a rich heritage of music since 1954 when the LP "Lonesome Horn", by clarinetist Drew Page, was released. Other artists who were on the Accent label are,David Powell, Nick Lucas, Bill Roberts, The Wheelers, Kirby Hamilton, Richard Christopher,Jay Thomas, Encore Duo, Warren Doyle Smith aka "Smitty", and Don Malena. Composer and arranger Arthur Kempel was one of the great talents that contributed to the Accent catalog as well as Louis Cope wizard guitarist, and Nick Mandola, the multi talented arranger, guitarist, keyboard player and producer.
